Archontiko is situated in a beautiful rural location. Set in amongst olive groves and the hillside of the breathtaking rock of Mellisa. It has breathtaking panaramic views of the bay of Alykes, Kafelonia and mainland Greece. A short stroll will bring you either by road or through our park to Alykes, which is the main tourist resort in the area. Located around the land you will find many ancient artifacts, which are dating back to 1846 when it originally traded as an olive oil factory and flour mill. The original mill, olive press and wine press is still on show along with the old waterwells and many pots and stones from that era. The house still stands as it did in 1846 marginly renovated however the ambience still remains. It is a dateless treasure that you must experience. |
